Hostal Escuils is located in the charming village of Unha, just 4 kilometres from the Baqueira Beret ski resort, 11 km from Vielha, 30 km from France and a short distance from the Aigüestortes National Park and Lake San Mauricio. This welcoming establishment offers a family atmosphere and has 10 NON-SMOKING rooms (all doubles and with a maximum capacity for 2 people each), equipped with a private bathroom with a bathtub and hairdryer, heating, television and electric kettle. Guests can enjoy a varied breakfast served in the common room, which also functions as a meeting place to watch television or have a coffee in the afternoon.

In addition, the hostel has free WIFI, an outdoor solarium with a garden, ski storage and a free shower service on the day of departure. Right in front of the hostel, guests have access to a large free public outdoor parking lot and electric vehicle chargers (with charge). Unha also offers a rich gastronomic offer and places of interest such as the Snow Museum, the Church of Santa Eulalia, famous for its 12th century frescoes, the Via Ferrata Eth Poi d´Unha, ..

To ensure the comfort and tranquility of all our guests, we accept children from 10 years old, since the facilities are not large enough to provide them with the appropriate service that we would like. Likewise, although we love animals, we cannot accept pets in our facilities. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you soon for a pleasant stay.

Small family run B&B, run by the owners themselves, with very friendly and welcoming service. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Traditional Catalan breakfast. Wifi is available, although you need to find the best spot for the signal. The biggest drawback for us was the lack of a common area. However, it is excellent value for money. The back garden is lovely. The daughter, Maria, speaks English quite well, but the parents do not. Still, they were very friendly and tried very hard to understand what we were saying. Recommended.

Probably the best place to stay in the Aran Valley. M. Ángeles is a sweetheart, she will help you and take care of you like no one else has ever done before, she was born to do this without a doubt, and she does it very well. The beds are comfortable, the heating is great, the shower water is perfect, parking at the door, ski storage, a ski pass in the accommodation, and the breakfasts are delicious and complete, amazing! A lovely hotel for a snow holiday or to explore the Val d'Aran. The location is excellent in the village of Unha, with several bars and restaurants nearby. The service provided by Angeles is excellent, attentive to everything and very detailed. She gives you lots of information and recommendations. The breakfast is very complete and delicious. The room is spacious with a wardrobe with plenty of space and a large, comfortable bed. It has an outside garden with tables and chairs. The parking, at the back of the hotel with direct access, is very convenient. An excellent choice! We will be back 🤍 Thank you for everything!!

Situated in Unha, a small exceptionally pretty village this small guesthouse is close to a number of great restaurants. Our host, Maria was most welcoming and helped us with bookings and really useful advice on places to visit and the local area. The rooms were kept exceptionally clean and there was attention to detail in all aspects of our stay. The breakfast is great. The pace is a short walk to Salardu which has bars etc. but we were always relieved to return for a quiet night

A great surprise, we booked it at the last minute and we couldn't have chosen a better place. In addition, MariAngels, the owner, explained everything about skiing, provided us with the ski passes and gave us directions to places to eat. Looking forward to returning!

It has been one of the best stays of our lives. Without exaggeration. Communication has been precise and very fast. The location is very good with a parking lot right in front of the back door. The rooms are very comfortable and with a good temperature. The treatment of the owners is unbeatable and the breakfast is tremendous. We can't say anything bad, only that now we want to return.

The welcome at Hostal Escuils was the warmest I have ever had. The bedroom and bathroom are extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and the basics (tea bags, cakes, toiletries etc) are refreshed daily if needed The standard is way above what you would expect from a hotel in this category. The wifi works well. The parking could not be more convenient. But if all of that is not enough to convince you, I am happy to say that Maria and her mother are the best hostesses you will ever find!

Very nice and clean. It is super close to the ski slopes. The management was very friendly and helpful from our arrival. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, with cakes baked on site. Although it does not have its own parking lot, there is a large free parking lot right behind.

The hotel is small (10 rooms) and simple (just the essentials). The rooms are clean and comfortable and well heated. The owners are very helpful and friendly and offer a simple but copious breakfast. Once you learn the the backdoor of the hotel opens onto the municipal car park behind the hotel, the usual hassle of bags and ski becomes a delight. The lack of restaurant in the hotel is no problem since there are six restaurants in Unha all within a few minutes walk of the hotel. If you have time take a look inside the village church. There are some amazingly conserved wall paintings - some from the 12th century.

I travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels and accommodations, but I have to say that this is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The owner, Maria, was extremely friendly and helpful. You can clearly tell that she cares a lot about the well-being of her guests and wants them to enjoy their stay. She will go out of her way to help you, provide information and advice, etc. She even left us chocolates and champagne in the room for New Year's Eve, and gave us a Christmas present for January 6th. These little personal touches made our stay really special.

We have been a few days at Hostal Escuils (Unha) and the experience could not have been better. It is a family hostel where the treatment is very personalized and, from the first moment, they have made us feel at home. Maria Àngels and her family have taken care of us from the first moment. Highly recommended, very clean and the best place to stay in the Aran Valley. Also highlight the honey that Dani makes (also from the family), which is delicious and is a km 0 product.

Great! We had a better time than at home. Maria Ángeles is a great hostess, she took great care of us, a stay full of details, from her recommendations for dinner and visits in the area, a fantastic breakfast, to a surprise on the morning of the Three Kings. The rooms are good, good beds and everything you need, with nice and delicious welcome details. It is easy to park right behind, with good access to the ski storage and the hostel. We will definitely be back.
